Physiotherapy - ambulatory care

For inhalation are used mineral waters, which improve function of respiratory mucous membranes, anti-inflammatory effects, liquefy of slime and stimulate expectoration.

For mineral waters can deliver medication for severe cases of breathlessness, natural salt, for catarrh of the upper respiratory tract or infusion of herbs.

Peat - peat material is used in the form of wraps or bath.

Prepared from the sulphurous-ferric peat, which has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and spasmolytic effects. it's form of heat therapy. Manual lymphatic drainage is performed by a physiotherapist with special training.

It's primaly therapeutic intervention, during procedure is change of press on capillary wall and improve exchange of substances between blood and tissues. Physiotherapist do set of massage techniques for the upper or lower limbs. After massage is necessary put on  a compression stockings or elastic bandage attached. Duration of procedure is between 40-60 minutes.

Indication: lymph edema of the upper or lower limbs, combined circulatory disorders.

Contraindications: bleeding, open skin wounds

One-off wraps, which are formed 5 mm layer of clay and peat between two foils.

On the skin is attached by vlieseline foil and warmed by portable racks, which are applied on impermeable layer of wrap. During 3 minutes slowly increase temperature of wrap up to 38°C, which wrap holds for the rest of application. Slight warming of the tissue at place of application, improve blood circulation and renegeration of skin and hypodermis. Wraps are widely used in cosmetics and for chronical pain, where you can't use clasical peat wraps for heavy workload on the heart.

Treading bath like rotating foot massage is also part of watertherapy of Kneipp type. it's active pedaling in bath with hot andd cold water with height of level between 20-25 cm.

Client will begin pedaling in hot water for 1-2 minutes and than he will continue to the bath with cold water for half minute.

This process is repeated several times. Procedure ends in cold water. It's good for headache, neurovegetative dystonia, cold feet syndrome, varicose veins at the beginning, loosening joints and ankles feet.

Bath is performed in water with high levels of CO₂ in temperature 32 - 35°C.
